Manovikas Public Charitable Trust Inaugurated the Media Lab “Chitrangan”, at the hands of Shri. Dhruba Hazarika, IAS, former Secretary to Government of Assam and Katha Awardee on 2nd Decemeber 2019, in the presence of our Chairman Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha, Board of Trustees, Founder Members and Trustees, the Manovikas faculty, guests and well-wishers, who were present on the occasion.
The Media Lab “Chitrangan” is a recording studio together with an editing room. The studio will be used for producing weekly news-capsules, films, documentaries and short-videos. The editing room will be used by the students to edit the raw footage produced in the studio as well as the school campus. The students will be exposed to the basics of media and film production.
The State-of-the-art, Media Lab is an extended exploration in learning for the students of Manovikas. It will provide hands-on experience in Creative and Innovative Learning.
