7th All Goa street-play competition was organized at school on 30th Nov 2019. The event kicked off flamboyantly with the arrival of honorable chief guest Adv. Cleofato Almeida and our illustrious judges Mr Siddharth Yaji, Mr Sudesh Prabhudessai and Mr Sanjiv Prabhu. The dignitaries were accompanied by the principal of Secondary school Mrs Srabonee Thaker and accorded a guard of honor.
The even commenced with the introduction of the Chief guest by Tr Shreya Nadkarni. Tr Priya Ambe read out the rules of the streetplay to the participants.
The event had participation from 10 schools. The participants tried to draw the attention of the viewers towards issues of social concern and enthralled the audience.
All participating institutions staged their performance efficaciously but the rolling trophy was bagged by Nirakar high school, Canacona. Second prize was bagged by Ravindra kelekar Gyan Mandir, Vidhyanagar Margao and the host school , Manovikas won the third place. We also won the best script award. Nirakar high school also won the best Slogan award.
The event concluded on a sweet note with Tr Sweta Kavlekar proposing the vote of thanks.
