The primary objective of the navy is to safeguard the nation’s maritime borders, and in conjunction with other Armed Forces of the union, act to deter or defeat any threats or aggression against the territory, people or maritime interests of India, both in war and peace.

Keeping this piece of information in mind, the students of std II along with the teachers were taken for an outing to the *Indian Naval Aviation Museum*, Mormugao Goa on the 18th of February 2020, to create an interest and make them aware about this part of the defense system of the country.

The Naval Aviation Museum showcases the rich history of Indian Naval Aviation. It has a prized collection of vintage and serving aircraft, their engines, armaments and much more to delight an aviation enthusiast. The students thus took a round to minutely observe the different air crafts.

In addition to this, the visit to the museum is not complete unless one has been to its mini theatre – Aviaflix. Short movies, documentaries which bring alive the history of Naval aviation, the world of warplanes and other interesting subjects are screened in this theatre. Hence a movie of 15-20 minutes duration on Indian Naval Aviation was projected for the students in two batches.

Thereafter, the students gathered to sit together and have their snacks. Further we moved towards the buses and left for school.
