Class 3 D – Wealth out of waste Competition

Published On: June 29, 2022   Category: Primary

There is no such thing as “throwing away” …when we throw anything it must go somewhere. So why not create useful and decorative items of waste available at home?

Keeping this idea in mind the students of class 3 participated in their first competition for the academic year. The topic given was ” Weath out of Waste”.
A lot of waste is generated at home daily such as coconut shells, old newspapers, glass jars, plastic bottles and cardboard boxes. All these can be used in a creative way to spruce up the interiors and this is exactly what the students did. They put up innovative and attractive things of the material that is of no use otherwise. Creating something new from the old, recycling and upcycling, are the best ways to reduce waste.
Wealth out of waste projects are an enjoyable and creative way to keep children occupied. Children enjoyed reusing old things to create something decorative. Making art from waste helped them learn new skills and help save the environment by creating best out of waste. Most importantly they learnt the importance of recycling waste material.
