REPORT ON OUTING OF CLASS VIII B TO CHEER MANOVIKAS
FOOTBALL TEAM AS THEY PLAYED IN THE FINALS.

“Winning isn’t everything–but wanting to win is.”
With the spirit of sportsmanship, on the 7th of October 2022, the
students of class VIII B accompanied the Manovikas school football team
to the football stadium at Ambelim to cheer and support them as they
played the football finals at the taluka level organized by the Directorate
of Sports and Youth affairs against Perpetual Succour Convent High
School of Navelim. The students were accompanied by Tr. Chelsea Dias
and Sir Prasad Prabhu.

Manovikas were declared the runners-up as Perpetual Succour Convent
High School won by 3-1. The match ended amidst loud cheers and
clapping for their determined efforts of all players. Before leaving the
football ground the students picked tetra packs and plastic waste lying
around thereby maintaining the cleanliness of the ground. It was a fun
day and a revitalising experience for the students.
