The Annual General Meeting of Manovikas Parent Teacher Association was held in the School Hall from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 14th July, 2023.
The programme commenced with an Invocation of Peace by Teacher Purba and her choir, followed by a Welcome Speech delivered by Mrs. Maria Norman, the Principal of Middle, High and Higher Secondary School. She applauded the parents for working hand in hand with the institution in order to bring about the best in children. Appreciating the work done by the previous committee, Mrs Norman also welcomed the Nominees for the new committee for the term 2023 to 2025. The names of the following contesting Nominees were announced:

High School – Mrs. Murielle Jacques
High School – Mr. Griffin Fernandes
ISC – Mr Robin Das
The work done by the committee of 2021-2023 was highlighted and the audited report of the last term and also the activities conducted by them were presented by Mrs. Manisha Dias, Co-opted member of the PTA.
The parents were enlightened with a lecture on ‘Family Connectedness’ and the importance of good parenting, by Dr. Aldina Braganza, the renowned psychologist, writer and columnist.
The contesting candidates were then invited to introduce themselves, following which, the elections began.
The parents enthusiastically participated in the casting of the votes for the Elections of the Pre-Primary, Primary and High school sections. The Middle and the Secondary sections did not have elections as the members stood unopposed.
Soon after the results were declared, the new committee was formed and the following are the newly elected members of the PTA for the term 2023 to 2025:
