The Art and Craft department of Manovikas English medium school organised a two days summer camp activity for the students of classes 5th to 8th, on 26th and 27th May 2022.

The students learnt how to hand paint a Terracotta clay flower pot into a beautiful planter. Terracotta pots are fabulous surfaces for a variety of art forms such as painting, interior design and a lot more. Students showed a lot of enthusiasm and joy while working with paints.

On Day 2 they were shown how to plant a sapling, also simple ways of how to use compost in the beautifully painted pots designed by them.

The students took back an elaborately detailed pot adorned by a flowering plant and lots of happy memories.
