Manovikas School Celebrates Children’s Day
Manovikas School celebrated Children’s Day after a gap of three years on  November 14, 2022 with great fanfare and enthusiasm. The Middle and High School children assembled in their respective classes at 8:30 am. They were welcomed by their class teachers along with the co-teachers and had games and other activities.
All students then gathered in the hall for the Cultural programme curated by the teachers. The comperes for the morning were Tr. Julliet and Sir Prasad who welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Maria Norman, Principal, in her address wished the children a very happy
Children’s Day and thanked the teachers for organizing the programme for them. The crooners accompanied by Sir Revellino enthralled the audience and made them all groove to their beats and songs. They were truly interactive and energetic
throughout the performance. The Mime presented by Tr. Priya Naik and group was a satire on the use of mobile phones and its effects. The musical Play by Tr. Mandovi, Tr. Priya and troupe tickled our bones and reintroduced us to the wonderful world of Konkani lore and music. They were indeed a joy to watch. The entire hall reverberated to the Bollywood dancing presented by the Physical
Education teachers. They transported us to the yesteryears of Bollywood’s charm.
The ingenuity showcased was truly marvelous and exciting to the students and teachers alike. There were also various spot prizes organised for the children. We can say with utter satisfaction that it was truly a morning to remember. The positivity the floated
in the room was a wonderful reminder of the joys of being surrounded by Children and celebrating them. The programme ended at 12:00 noon and the students went home in
jubilant spirits.
