Runners up for grabs for Manovikas soccer team.

Manovikas U-12 Girls Football team secured Runners Up place in the Little Gaur Football League ( South Zone) held from 8th March to 28th March 2022.

Three teams qualified to play Super Cup from each zone i.e South Zone, North Zone and Vasco Zone.

Little Gaur Football League is held in affiliation with “Forca Goa” and sponsored by Tata Punch.
It was a great experience playing competitive school football, after two years of the pandemic.
We did not know what to expect coming into the tournament. In Super cup
we played Semi- Finals against the Tiny Goal Team, the match ended with a draw and went into penalties.
Our goal keeper Shreya Naik with her exceptional goal keeping skills and presence of mind stopped all goals to slingshot us to the finals.
In the finals it was a neck to neck competition till the last minute securing us runners place with score 1 – 0.
We are proud of our girls foot ball team and their coach Tr. Leincy Pexeito (P.E teacher) who anchor guided the players.
We wish great success to all the players and coach for the upcoming tournaments.
