Healthy And Unhealthy Food

Our food forms the most crucial part of our growth. Food gives us energy to work, play, run and to go
about our day’s activities. Healthy eating for children is important for proper growth and development.
Unhealthy food like burger, pizza, samosa etc. is good to taste but bad for health which can lead to
many diseases and hamper growth and development. Junk food makes us obese, lazy and also stops the
growth of brain. Healthy food like rice, chapatti, fish etc. contains loads of nutrients needed for our
body. We should also include fruits and vegetables in our diet everyday.
The students of class 1 were given an opportunity to make a collage of healthy and unhealthy foods. This
activity helped the young minds to understand the importance of healthy eating and the consequences
of junk food. The students thoroughly enjoyed this activity.
