‘Life without Liberty is like a body without spirit.’
Goa Liberation day, observed every year on December 19th  and is regarded as one of the most significant days in the history of Goa. Students of class 3 A and 3 B conducted a special assembly to celebrate the Independence of their home ground together.
The Assembly began by first understanding the depth of the struggle that went into the Liberation of Goa from the colonial clutches of the Portuguese through skit.
The feeling of patriotism was evoked among the students by singing a patriotic song and recitation of a poem in Konkani.
It was a delight to see the students dressed up as Goan freedom fighters. They enlightened the students about the hardship and the ideals of the great leaders. Mesmerizing folk dances were performed by the students in graceful outfits.
The Assembly ended with a renewed feeling of Patriotism in everyone.
