Ganesh Chaturthi Assembly

‘Vakratunda mahakaaya

Sarvakaaryesu sarvadaa.’

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birth of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles.

A special assembly on Ganesh Chaturthi was conducted by the students of Class 3 on 25th August 2022.

The assembly commenced with a classical dance followed by a skit on the story of Ganesha enacted by the students and Ganesh aarti along with lighting of the lamp and offering prayers to Lord Ganesha, seeking his blessings . The highlights of the programme were the songs – Jai Ganesha and Come oh bulky stomach  Ganapathi and dances – Oh my friend Ganesha and the Lezium dance where their  actions and costumes and the whole atmosphere added to the festive spirit.

The programme concluded with the chants of ‘Ganapati Bappa Moriyaa’ where all the students and teachers participated with full devotion and respect.
