The special educators of the Life Skills Resource Room organized a field trip for their students to SVD Seminary, Raia on the 7th of April 2022.

We were accompanied by parent volunteers and attendants.
Students were trained with the help of a social story a week before the trip.
At SVD, students walked through the plant nursery admiring and naming a few common plants, saw the cashew juice making unit and walked around the farm.
Students saw animals such as cows, pigs, ducks, fowls, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs. Students named the animals and some were brave enough to touch the small guinea pigs.
We then sat in the beautiful garden where students relaxed and had their refreshments.
Before leaving we went for a walk to the rubber plantation and clicked a few group pictures. It was a good learning experience as well as a fun trip.
