Manovikas English Medium school hosted it’s 52nd Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2022-23 on 16th of December, a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Ralin Dsouza. Inter-House March Past, a highly competitive event where the four houses eyed for the first place. Highlight of the day was the torch relay where all deserving athletes were felicitated. Chief guest was introduced by Tr. Steffni D’Cruz welcomed the gathering. Chief guest, Rev Fr. Ralin Dsouza spoke a few words of encouragement to our young athletes and declared the meet open. Tr. Steffni D’Cruz, Tr. Ojvi Coutinho and Tr. Juel Ann were the hosts for the event. Class 5 performed Zumba and set the tempo for the rest of event.
The displays made way for the highly awaited athletic events where competitiveness among the students soared through the roof.  The proud parents could be seen filled with happiness to see their child performing.
Manovikas Band ‘Brass Revolution ‘ with two EDM hits in own renditions , kept the audience enthralled. At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Arjun House emerged as House Champions. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. Ms Ojvi Coutinho thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children to keep up their sportsman spirit.
The Pryamid Formation was the highlight of the day as the guests were mesmerised by the unique formations.
The 100 meter races and relays kept the audience at the edge of their seats as the participants were neck to neck at the finish line.
The event ended with the solemn handing over of the Sports Flag.
